Team bp Takes on Coast to Coast Cycle for Instant Neighbour
In June, members of the bp community took part in the annual Coast to Coast fundraising event, raising funds for four amazing charities — including Instant Neighbour Aberdeen.
The riders set off from Ullapool on their bikes, cycling a staggering 240 miles back to Aberdeen as part of Coast to Coast 17 challenge.
The journey was no small feat. In the weeks beforehand, our riders committed themselves to a rigorous training schedule, building the fitness, stamina and mental resilience needed to take on such a demanding challenge. Their dedication and hard work paid off, as they successfully completed the entire route, supporting one another every pedal of the way.
We are so grateful for every donation, and bp kindly matched the total amount raised, which means a grand total of £38,000 was gratefully received. Thanks again to everyone who participated, supported and donated to their fundraising page. We truly enjoyed following their journey every step of the way – what a ride!
