Supporter’s Pack

Thank you for your support of our Giving Tree Appeal 2022!

Here you will find all the information you need to support our Appeal.

When do I have to return gifts by?

The deadline for returning gifts this year is Thursday 1st December 2022.  Gifts can be returned to any of our public drop off points or to your office if they are participating in the Appeal.

How does the Appeal work?

Here is a list of commonly asked questions and answers about the Appeal.

What kind of gifts should I buy for the Giving Tree Appeal?

Have a look at our gift guide.

What other campaigns are Instant Neighbour running alongside the Giving Tree Appeal this Christmas?

As well as collecting Giving Tree gifts, we are also asking for support in the following areas:

  • Donations of chocolate selection boxes to assist in our pledge to provide a selection box to all our clients’ children
  • Donations of non-perishable food for our Food Bank
  • Donations of much needed basic toiletries for our Food Bank clients

Suggested donations of food and toiletries can be found below.  Please note that gifts can be dropped off at our public drop off points, but toiletries, food and chocolate must be dropped off at our Instant Neighbour Office at 5 St Machar Drive, Aberdeen, AB24 3YJ.

How do I advertise our participation in the Giving Tree and the other Instant Neighbour Christmas Campaigns?

Posters for each of our campaigns can be found at the links below.  Please feel free to print and display them as you wish at your premises

How can we promote our participation in the Giving Tree Appeal?

Please feel free to tag us and share photos and information about your participation in the Appeal via social media – we are on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.  You can use #INGivingTree2020, #SmellyChristmas and #InstantNeighbour in your posts.

When do Instant Neighbour collect the gifts or other items we have donated?

Gifts donated at public drop off points will be collected on a regular basis until Friday 3rd December.  Please note only gifts can be donated at public drop off points.

For individual participating companies, we will be in touch with you soon to inform you of a one off collection date.  If you are able to have your gifts and / or other items ready prior to the collection date that is very helpful for us since we have lots of fantastic supporters to collect from in a short space of time!

How do I volunteer with the Giving Tree?

Please email givingtree@instantneighbour.co.uk if you would like to volunteer with us.
