Evan has been the Community Connector at Instant Neighbour since 2018 where he runs the foodbank and offers welfare advice and referrals to our clients and service users.
His background is generally customer facing and training roles, but he also has a degree in Theology where he focussed on pastoral care and ethics and this laid a foundation which slowly became a desire to work in some aspect of social care and welfare advice. His own life experiences have become invaluable in helping people negotiate the benefit system as well a s being able to offer welfare advice in a wide range of practical issues.
He has travelled extensively over the years playing guitar with several bands and musical outfits and guitar remains his main hobby. He has two grown up daughters and spends much of his time out walking his two rescue greyhounds, Isa and Luna.
