Carpet Inc is now accepting donations of good quality used or unused carpet and will collect FREE OF CHARGE.

Carpet Inc is a new innovative Carpet Recycling Enterprise and the ONLY ONE IN THE NORTH-EAST. The new carpet recycling service will reduce the amount of carpets and carpet tiles being put to landfill, thus having a positive impact on the environment as it can take a carpet containing nylon up to 40 years to bio degrade depending on weight and size.

There are certain types of carpet that we cannot re-use at the moment such as foam back, hall and stair carpet,and also stained or any water damaged carpets.

The carpets are cleaned and re-trimmed and offered for sale back to people who have limited income and may otherwise not be able to carpet their home.

Carpetinc does offer a limited supply of new carpets in addition to the recycled carpet. Pricing varies for both new and recycled carpet and will depend on the room size and quality of carpet, so we are unable to provide a quote by phone. You will need to bring room measurements with you when you come to look so that we can provide a quote – this can include fitting if required.
