The Giving Tree Appeal

Imagine not receiving a present this Christmas. Instant Neighbour’s Giving Tree Appeal, sponsored by Chevron and Print a graph and supported by many local businesses and the general public, distributes new toys to young people across the city who otherwise would not receive a gift at Christmas.

We need your help to ensure the success of our 2011 Appeal.

Can you help sorting, collecting and delivering toys?

You’ll need a clean driving licence and the enthusiasm of a modern day Santa!
We have other jobs for volunteers too. If you can spare a few hours, please contact Instant Neighbour Charity on 01224 489955.

Can you donate non-perishable food for our Christmas hampers?

It will make a huge difference to people living on low incomes in your local area.
All donations can be made to our offices at 5 St Machar Drive – weekdays, between 10am and 3pm.

Can you donate new toys?

During the second week of November Christmas Trees will appear across the city with gift tags attached – please take one and purchase a new toy for the named child and return the gift to the any of the places listed on the tag.

Please ensure you return your gifts by SECOND MONDAY IN DECEMBER so that we can get them distributed in time for Christmas.

We think it’s important for young people to receive birthday presents too.
Please donate new toys to allow a young person in the city to enjoy a Happy Birthday – if wrapped please clearly mark these with the age and sex of the child e.g. boy aged 12.

Thank you for your time and generosity.
